Wayne Carr Director of Facilities Services
Wayne is the Director of Estates, Facilities and Clinical Engineering at Choice. He has over 30 years' experience managing and delivering estates and facilities services across the NHS and PFI sectors. He has held senior roles in several NHS Trusts across the North East.
Wayne holds a Master's degree in Building Services and is a Chartered Engineer. He is Chair of the Northern and Yorkshire NHS Assessment Centre, which delivers Engineering and Clinical Engineering apprenticeships in the region and across the country. He played a key role in the introduction of the Clinical Engineering Apprentice Standard in 2021. He is a former member of the IHEEM National Council and currently serves as Chair of the IHEEM Audit Committee.
